Its 2:1 mix ratio formula dispenses as a black, non-sag adhesive that supports application on vertical and overhead surfaces. Its formulated to provide a 90-minute working time that supports repositioning for accurate component placement during assembly.
Built for industrial applications, 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive DP490 is designed to deliver reliable structural bonds in challenging environments, tolerating exposure to water, fuel, and humidity, while maintaining bond performance at temperatures up to 120 °C. This versatile adhesive can fully cure in 48 hours at room temperature — 23 °C. It can also be heated to accelerate cure time, providing flexibility for variable curing workflows. It is available in bulk and in 50 ml Duo-Pak cartridges. It is compatible with the 3M™ EPX Applicator System for accurate metering, mixing, and dispensing.
